Donor Case Statement: Flint Hills Initiative

The Nature Conservancy in Oklahoma and Kansas is racing against time to protect the world’s last significant remnant of tallgrass prairie. This document captures the urgency of this conservation effort—what’s at stake, why it matters, and how people can take action.

As the marketing and communications director for The Nature Conservancy’s Oklahoma chapter, I partnered with my counterpart in Kansas to bring this project to life. Collaborating with subject matter experts and fundraising leaders, we transformed complex scientific information into clear, compelling, and actionable messaging.

I led the document’s design and layout, co-authored the copy, and managed contract illustrators. Each carefully crafted illustration distills key conservation concepts into visually engaging content, ensuring that donors, decision-makers, and landowners connect with the mission in a meaningful way.
