What started as a passion project, turned into a Heartland Chapter Emmy® Award-winning video.
My goal was to reinforce OETA as a local TV and digital destination for curiosity and excitement. By combining traditional photography techniques with up-beat music, I produced a brand video that appeals to young adults who grew up with Mr. Rogers and PBS super-fans alike.
Scenes from late-night swims, sunsets at the lake, family night at the park, and starry nights are familiar to Oklahomans. By infusing the video with energetic lighting, quick cuts, and a tune familiar across ages and backgrounds, the piece captures the nostalgia of a summer night in Oklahoma.
